Rewardcharts...how many use this option for their children, not working for me
I have a 9 year old boy and we have made a reward chart ,so he can help us around the house ,we have had this for a year or so . Well its not working, he dosnt do all his chores anymore and rewards are not working . I love watching supernanny but my kids are not that bad , i was a preschool teacher for 10 years but not sure how to raise a tween if you want to call him that lol. anyways any ideas how to get him excited for the chore chart? Lost for ideas

My boys are 3 & 5 so I can't help you there. What makes him excited and motivated? I'd start there.
At any rate, at least in our house, if you don't obey your parents thats a call for discipline. We spank or take away tokens (part of our chore/reward system). The almost 4 yr old could care less about the tokens, he's concerned about the spankings- the almost 6 yr old cares about the tokens but he doesn't like spankings either ;)
And if you have an email subscription option I'd sign up for that. I don't use RSS tho.
I have a 10 yr old son too. The only thing that motivates him is the computer. Or his ipod touch.
