The Mystery Of Corbin My son {Sorry so Long}

My son Corbin who is now 2 years old has had alot of issues since birth. He was born Emergency c-section I had his other twin natural then when it was Corbins turn his cord was comming out first not him so they had to stop everything and I had a thing called a dirty emergency c-section where the nurse had to literally put her whole arm up inside to hold him and the cord so the doctors could get ready and for I to get knocked out. they rushed my S.O. out of the room and delivered him as fast as they could. In the Nicu he was in there for quite a while with Oxygen and feeding tubes, Ivs' . It was a scary thing the first time I could go in there ,their were so many Drs. surronding his incubator ...I feared the worst they were trying to figure out his heart problem as well as his inverted jaw , hernia in his belly button as well as his testicles, he also wasnt holdiong anyfood he kept spiting it back up and haveing residual in his stomach, they told me his ears were to small as well as his eyes were to close together so he had to be tested for cromsome abnormalities, etc. I was so overwhelmed and didnt know how to react . All I could do was think how to fix my son to be "normal" like his other twin.

He wasnt able to hold his oxyegen levels up by himself for a long time so his brother was able to leave with out him. which was sad its the hardest thing leaving your son at the hospital while you are bring home his sibling. you feel like you are betraying him or think that he thinks that you dont love him just those mommy things that go through your head.
Well a few weeks went by and while those weeks went by they found out that he has Aortic Stenosis (heart ) and he has to see a cardiologist for the rest of his life. also The told me he might have a syndrome . and he has bad muscles in his tummy that dosnt digest his food at the normal rate so he has meds. for that as well as pepcide to go along with that medicen then he has to have Mirrolaxx cause the meds he is taking constipates him. ughh too many for a newborn infant ,i thought.

Well a few weeks later it was near christmas time and were were able to bring him home. I still felt that they were missing something just a gut thing. So we take him home and feedings were the worst it was so hard to feed him , he would eat(drink) his formula so slow and you need to make sure you remember to give him his meds (reglan) before he ate. otherwise you would be wearing it right away. It would take him up to half an hour to an hour to feed him and after that I had to feed his brother as well. So no sleep for me . His coloring was always blueish gray. I alsways  watched him making sure he was breathing right.
well I think it was the day before christmas eve that we had to call the doctor case he would stop breathing . They told us if we thought it was a emergency to take him to emergency.  We go thim there and they checked his O2 right away and noticed it was gravely low . and then he stoped breathing thats when nurses and doctors came rushing in with breathing things and Ivs needles and just overwheliming things, They did many tests and couldnt firgure out why he couldnt keep his O2 up. I told them well what about his chin do you think it is cutting his airway off cause its so far back . they said it shouldnt make his airway that bad to close it off that extreme . the next day was christmas eve and still no answers. so he got admitted and they ran more tests still no one would listen to me or my S.O. about his chin. The sadeest day was that day where we had to leave our newborn son on christmas eve in the PICU unit to go home to our other 2 children for christmas cause we had to make it normal for my older son to where he wasnt left out. christmas morning came we had our christmas which was so sad for me but i hid it as best as i could. We left early that morning after presents to go up to the childrens hospital to find that "SANTA" came for Corbin they actually took a picture of Corbin and Santa" together which was the sweetest thing and they had gifts for him. I cried it was so thoughtful .

Well after a week of being in there and in another wing of the hospital we were able to stay with him at the ronald mcdonald house . we were able to bring him home since he was able to keep his O2 up. It was a day later where we had to take him back because of the same thing this time they had the nerosergeon and cardiologist, ears nose throught people in there doing all there test to see what was going on. They found out his chin was blocking his airway (which I had mentioned before)and he needed a chin Extraction which they had a special plastic surgeon break his jaw and extend it with plates and screws. well the dr. wasnt going to do it but he noticed it was life or death. so the schedualed it right away they did it . let me tell you I could NOT look at my son in that kind of circumstance it brought tears to my eyes just seeing the bandages it was the most horable thing to see your 2 month old go through. after he got that done airway was much better O2 was better and he was home in march 08.

Well now that he is 2 I have a new challange with him NOT sleeping always waking for no reason and not wanting to go back to sleep . he thrashes in his crib all night long where I think he is going to come through the wall. He has had a recent sleep study ,but before we  could do that they put him on Iron suppliments a different med and so on , nothing worked still the same.We have told the drs that daddy had the same thing at that age and when they had test done on him he was having mild sezures well they havent checked for that yet , they keepo telling us that Corbin is a mystery , I keep getting that same excuse for everything I ask the drs about. Well mommy and corbin hasnt had sleep in 2 years basically and would like answers. I find out more answers next week after they look over his results from the sleep study. their has to be something wrong, I feel it. So if you are a mother of a child with special needs please let me know if there are moms out their like me where the doctors dont listen  or if you have gone through this. By the way the cromosome testing they found out that there is no syndrome at all.

The Amish Don't Get Autism but They Do Get Bio-Terrorism

Had to share this , feel free to comment

http://healthwyze.org/index.php/component/content/article/295-the-amish-dont-get-autism-but-they-do-get-bio-terrorism.html

People outside the alternative health community are often confused by the lack of autism in the Amish people. The Amish do not experience autism, or any of the other learning disabilities that plague our technological society. The Amish live in a society that consists of outdated technologies and ideals, by contemporary standards. Their diet consists of eating organic, fresh, locally-grown produce, and of course, they do not follow the established vaccination routines. To the dismay of the mainstream media and the medical establishment, this has resulted in a healthier people, that are void of all chronic diseases. Heart disease, cancer, and diabetes are virtually non-existent in Amish villages. Equally non-existent are modern, chemically-engineered medicines, enhanced (chemically-engineered) foods, G.M.O. foods, and of course, vaccines. How is it that those who are without the "miracles" of modern orthodox medicine are so extremely healthier? The truth about health, medicine, and how they both relate to the Amish is becoming an embarrassment to some rather powerful people.
There have been 3 (yes three) known cases of autism in the Amish, and at least two of those children were vaccinated. No information is available for the third. The strong correlation between vaccinations and autism is absolutely undeniable, unless you work for the medical establishment, the government, or Big Media. Proponents of the status-quo claim that the Amish obviously have a special super gene that makes them immune to autism. They pathetically try to rationalize that autism is some type of genetic failure (i.e. God's fault), which attacks a brain based on religious affiliation. We're tentatively expecting a space alien theory next, in a similar vein to the aliens theory used to attack those who believe in a Creator. It truly is F.D.A. and A.M.A. science in all its shining glory. Vaccine proponents are willing to espouse any ridiculous explanation, so long as they do not have to accept that their entire industry of vaccinations is causing chronic disease, leaving autism for 1 in every 100 children now.

Beware When The G' Man Comes Knocking

The Amish are constantly harassed by health officials, who attempt to convince them to vaccinate their children. Whilst most Amish still refuse to vaccinate, a small minority are beginning to succumb to the scare tactics. This continues despite the fact that health officials actually have no legal right to visit peoples' homes and harass them into accepting these poisons. As more of the Amish vaccinate, the autism rates in their community will rise. Fortunately, the majority of the Amish still contend that vaccination is against God's will, which interestingly enough, does indeed seem to be bringing about blessings on their children.

Many of the viruses which children are vaccinated against are no longer circulating. However, fear tactics by the media have led frightened parents to vaccinate their children against these viruses anyway. One of those viruses is polio. Dr. Sherri Tenpenny reported that the most recent case seen in the Western Hemisphere was in Peru, in 1991. The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) declared the Western hemisphere free of Polio in 1994. Such inconvenient figures are not cited by the mainstream media, doctors, or the American Medical Association.

On October 14, 2005, the media swung into action after the vaccine-strain of the polio virus was found in the stools of four Amish children. The media initially declined to mention that the polio virus was the chemically-inactivated version, which is only found inside the oral polio vaccine. Of course, this discovery was exploited to terrorize parents who avoid vaccines, and to recreate the disease hysteria that existed in the first half of the 20th century.

Big Business: Intentionally Creating a Paralyzing Pandemic

The horrors of polio were greatly exaggerated by the allopathic establishment's across-the-board removal of tonsils, which is the only organ that produces polio antibodies. Coincidentally, around the same time, the newly-created F.D.A. began suppressing the use of silver in medicines, which were the only substances known to kill viruses (like polio). Finally, 'the solution' that industry desired, namely a vaccine, was released at the time that the epidemic was naturally ending, so that the industry's vaccine could be given credit. All of this was orchestrated to manipulate the masses into buying into vaccines, radiation, and chemistry for health.

"During the polio epidemics, it was found that people who had their tonsils removed were 3 - 5 times more likely to develop paralysis… There were many at that time that suggested that polio was an iatrogenic disease [caused by the medical establishment] … we caused thousands of cases of paralysis. We did not cause the polio, but we converted people who would have recovered from a viral illness into people with a paralytic illness.”
― Dr. Mark Donohoe

With vaccinations, we convert people who may have had natural immune-strengthening infections like the flu, or chickenpox into people who have life-changing disorders like autism. None of the Amish children who had polio in their stools experienced paralysis, or any other horrific symptoms. That fortunate conclusion to their infections is likely the result of them lacking the 'miracles' of allopathic medicine.

We must wonder how four Amish children who live in an isolated community managed to become exposed to the unique chemically-inactivated vaccine strain of the polio virus. It is more than likely that such a thing was intentional, especially when the harassment by local health officials is considered. In addition, the vaccine strain that was discovered had not been used for five years, due to the possibility of it causing paralysis. After all, if some Amish children were to get sickened by the polio virus, the Amish may all rush to get their children vaccinated, and the science of vaccinations is proven with a wink and a nod.

The manner in which this was reported is very telling. For instance, if the vaccine strain of the polio virus was found in a normal child, would the media have made the story into front page news? Would it even have been reported? The Washington Post explained that both state and federal officials had informed them of the story. Misleading titles such as, "Polio Outbreak Occurs Among Amish Families In Minnesota" were then used to manipulate resistant parents with bio-terrorism.

When the Amish are simply left alone, to live free of chemical toxins found in our medicines and foods, they are not plagued with diseases, learning disabilities, or autism. They are categorically more intelligent, with the exception of advanced (college-level) writing skills, which is explainable by the fact that English its not their primary language. Could it be those same Amish 'super genes' at work again? Society could learn greatly from their example, if we would only stop poisoning ourselves, and our children on a routine basis.

Review: For the Jeep Double Stroller

Amazon.com $50 Gift Card (0109)I had recieved this jeep stroller for a babyshower gift for my twins 2 years ago. At first It was great loved it, but after a year it was getting harder to push with both of them in it . It should  have come with 2toy play car steering wheels, than having to buy the second one. Storage for the stroller was great no problem there is plenty , the bottom basket was nice and big that my diaper bag and purse and lol a few other things fit in it with no problem. the side pockets were great to hold theirsnacks they needed bibs extra and extra toy on the go cup holders and snack trays. But it has been 2 years since I have had it and now its very hard to push or even keep control of it. and turning corners forget it lol. it has pretend shocks and plastic durable wheels. Its reasonably priced but would love for them to update the wheeles to rubber and real shocks instead of fake. Well I hope you don;t mind me ranting but I figured to let you know . Its a big back breaker now lol

TIP****

How do I know if my child has FROSTBITE ?

This is a good question every mom asks well here is your answer .

If your child is complaining of pain, coldness or even tingling on extremiities ( ears, nose, fingers, toes) examine the area right away. Frostbite looks rare, white, purple, red or blistering skin requiers quick action to prevent the loss of permenent loss of feeling or the need for amputation (god forbid) . But if you get it right away you might be able to prevent it. Place the body part in warm - nit Hot- water and dont rub it. If it doesnt turn pink in color in 15 mins. wrap in a towel and give your child a pain reliever then head straight to the ER.

Wednesday Game night

My 9 year old Loves that we made a day just for him to play a board game . Every Wednesday after the twins go to bed @8pm, Gavin, my fiancee Brian , grandma(Brian's mom that lives next door) and I play a game that he picked out. Its basically Gavin time till we are done.
Tonight we played Apples to Apples it was fun loved it I do hope that more families pick a day , just one that's all ,and sit down and play a game together. Its great family bonding time and you have fun plus making memories for your child/ren. Especially if they are older and you have younger ones you have to pay more attention too. This is to show them you still love them and can find time for him as well. So this Christmas get your child a game and start a tradition for your family. You can even have a tag on it that says: To the so-n-so family, Love SANTA. For you to play on your game night together. And make it more special.

Wow I sure did save on my food shopping .

Last night I went grocery shopping. I had my coupons and bout what ever I needed on sale as well. I saved $57.59 for my bonus card savings and $21.23 in manufacturing savings so thats a total of $78.82 whooo hooo. I love shopping at TOPS. my total would have been $272.91 .So it goes to show you that you need to make sure you look at the fliers check out the deals get those coupons out and compare prices . you will be shocked. My groceries normally last me 2 weeks feeding 6 -7 people every day. it depends who shows up as well lol.

A Review for the Laundry soap Purex 3in1

I LOVE this Laundry soap. Its a great new product . I encourage you to try it. I don't have to remember to put fabric soap or sheets in the laundry at all its ALL in that sheet they give you. And it makes your clothes SMELL YUMMY AND SOOOO SOFT. I strongly recommend to buy it. also it is reasonable priced cause if you add up all the cost from fabric softener and sheets plus the laundry soap as well it is still cheaper than all those . Tell me what you think

Why is it....

Why is it that if your child is sleeping and you DON'T want them to wake up... and you try everything in your power to keep it quiet they wake up. And if you are making the loudest noise and you don't mind that they wake up ..they don't lol..

Real mom real views blog

This blog is giving away a wonderful plate set by "My plate mate" .Its a plate that has a curved side for children that are just learning to scoop up their food. Its brilliant cause your child can feel more independent instead of frustrated when their food doesn't go on their fork then they wind up using their fingers anyway. Check out this site and read up more about it.

Raising CORBIN, My child with special needs

One of my twin boys is developmentally behind. And every mile stone is a gift for our family. Corbin is 2 years old and he loves to play with his twin Jaden, But not long ago Corbin didn't have any mobility he just layed there and watched his twin run around and play. We felt so bad for him and encouraged him every waking moment. Recently with the help and support of his therapist that come to the house he is now standing and cruising along furniture ,but this only happened a few months ago i was so proud of him. This Christmas I do want one thing ...For him to walk. Even though he does not talk or feed himself just to see him independently more around chasing his brother will make me think he WILL catch up and be right where his twin is.Our therapists come right to the house 3xs a week for 30 mins. each so my days are really busy with people coming in . still i find time to do projects and other things to keep them occupied. I don't mind that we are so busy it makes me smile every time he does something on his own which he was never able to do before and he knows that Independence is only arms length . So if you have a special needs child don't hesitate to get him Early Intervention it only makes HIM/HER stronger and more independent, it does not LABEL your child it ENABLES them.
